Hepatitis B reduced
Six years ago, Mr Lin, the Vice-President of an Air Cargo company, developed complications
due to Hepatitis B infection. He had a Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) index
that was three orders of magnitude greater than normal.
At the National Taiwan University
Hospital, he was prescribed with interferon-alpha therapy under the guidance of
Dr. Lai. Although he showed a positive response to the therapy in the beginning,
the improvement did not continue for long. Frustrated, Mr. Lin started to try the
enhanced ‘Tsi-Bao” approach along with the therapy.
The result of the next routine
check 4 months later, was amazing -- the index came down from three to only two
orders of magnitude, a ten-fold reduction. Dr. Lai was amazed with the improvement.
